People resist change even when it's essential for survival. I have compiled the following list based on my experience in helping organizations identify and implement needed change. I've grouped the things I've heard people say into eight categories.

- It won't work in our workplace.
- Maybe that will work in your department but not mine.
- It's impossible.

- It can't be done.
- It's hopelessly complex.
- Let's get back to reality.

- We tried that before and it didn't work.

- I Want no Part of It
